Riad Fes

Fez & the North

Rating: Deluxe

Riad Fes overview

Riad Fes is a blend of traditional Moorish and early 20th century architecture in the heart of the city of Fes. It centres around 4 distinct courtyards and parts of building date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. This intriguing mix creates a unique atmosphere and, combined with the highest levels of comfort and service, have led to the road becoming a member of the famous Relais & Chateaux brand.
The 30 guest rooms are arranged around the 4 courtyards over several floors. All have private bathrooms and some have terraces. They are all supremely comfortable and have been furnished and decorated with meticulous attention to detail.
Sofas and chairs in the courtyards offer plenty of seating, including secluded alcoves. Complimentary tea is available here all day. There are lounges and bars for socialising, each with its own atmosphere. L'Ambre restaurant specialises in delicious Moroccan cuisine, served in a stylish dining room. The riad runs cookery classes for those who want to brush up on their culinary skills.
The Cinq Monds spa offers traditional hammams designed to cleanse and restore vitality, soothing and therapeutic massages and beauty treatments. Two of the courtyards contain pools, and those in search of greater exertion will enjoy a visit to the gym. The roof terrace is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy panoramic views of the old city and surrounding mountains, while soaking up some sun.
