Mara Bushtops is set on a hilltop with views of the valley and Siana Hills and is just a 20 minute drive from the main gate of the National Park. With 12 tents, this is an exclusive camp offering luxury and excellent service. Game viewing is the main focus, but there are also opportunities to visit a local village or simply relax and enjoy the creature comforts of the camp.
The tents are set well apart from each other ensuring privacy. They are spacious with large beds and generous ensuite bathrooms, as well as an outdoor shower. Each tent is open on 3 sides making the most of the fine views and has a wooden deck with a sunken hot tub, ideal for relaxing after a day's game viewing. There is one larger family suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which can accommodate up to 6 people. Electricity is is provided for 24 hours a day, supplied by solar power.
The lounge has a store of reference books and there is internet access at reception. The dining area has a veranda, so you can enjoy meals in the open air, watching wildlife in the valley below. The camp has its own wine cellar so you can compliment your meal with a glass of white or red as you wish. There are many wooden decks throughout the camp from which you can enjoy fine views. Telescopes are provided for close up views of the game.
Mara Bushtops offers game drives in the early morning and evening as well as full day drives. Situated in a private conservancy, it can also offer night drives, guided walks and bush dinners. The camp has strong links with the local community and you are welcome to visit the Masai manyatta where many of the staff live. When not game viewing, you can relax by the plunge pool, enjoy a soothing soak in your own hot tub or a revitalising massage in the privacy of your own tent.

Location: Mara Bushtops is in the private Bushtops Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara.The camp is on a hillside overlooking a valley. It is just 4.5kms to the main gate of the national park and is near the Mara river. There are 2 airstrips nearby, Siana Springs and Keekorok.
Rooms: There are 12 luxury tents and 1 suite/family tent which can accommodate a family of 6. Tents are open on 3 sides for fabulous views. Each has a large private deck equipped with a telescope for game viewing and a sunken hot tub for ultimate relaxation. The en-suite bathrooms have both indoor and outdoor showers and hot and cold running water. Inside the tent are comfortable beds, a dining table, writing desk and 24-hour solar generated power. There is 24-hour butler service. The Leopard Suite has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a sunken living room, a private fireplace and minibar.
Activities: Full day and half day game drives in the Masai Mara National Park and the private conservancy. Night drives are also offered in the conservancy. A balloon safari can be booked in advance or at reception. The ride is followed by a champagne breakfast. Other activities include walking safaris, bush picnics, bird watching and cultural visits.
Facilities: The central area has reception and lounge areas overlooking the Masai Mara. There are several open air decks. The library has a selection of books and a widescreen TV where you can view your own photos. The camp has an infinity pool. Dining is a highlight, with meals being taken in the dining room or on the deck overlooking the waterhole. Private dinners can be arranged. The camp has a good choice of wines. There is a campfire where you can enjoy sundowners. The Amani African Spa Village offers a range of treatments and facilities include a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym.
Dining: Meals are taken at individual tables.
Children: Children aged 7 years and older are welcome. An additional bed can be placed in the tent.
