This is your opportunity to relax and enjoy one of the most remote and untouched places on Costa Rica's coastline. Copa De Arbol Beach and Rainforest Resort is an eco-luxury beachfront resort set among 70 acres of pristine rainforest reserve. Only accessible by boat, this is the perfect place to get away from it all to an area known as Caletas (small coves) between Drake Bay and the Corcovado National Park.
Each of the 10 thatched cabinas seems to blend into the natural forest backdrop. They are surrounded by trees and tropical gardens providing privacy and a secluded feeling. Constructed using recycled materials and reforested wood such as teak, cypress and melina, each cabina has both ocean and rainforest views. There is a balcony with seating, orthpaedic matresses to ensure a good nights rest, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and beautifully tiled bathrooms with large walk-in showers. Each is different from the next, though all are light and airy with classy decor and attention to detail. You'll be within 100 yards from Rio Claro Beach, and surrounded by the sounds of nature as you drift of to sleep.
The meals are superb, prepared with fresh local produce and served in the open air restaurant and bar, all to great views of the ocean and a rainforest backrop. Relax and enjoy one of the most remote and untouched places on Costa Rica’s Pacific coastline.
The activities available from Copa de Arbol are numerous and varied. Some focus on land such as horseriding along the beach, a guided tour of Corcovado National Park, visit to the Cano Negro Reserve, or get your adrenalin pumping with a canopy and zipline tour through the forest. Naturally, with the ocean being in such close proximity water activities are on offer too. Enjoy the romance of a sunset boat cruise in Drake Bay, or you could try scuba diving. Depending on the season, whale watching and dolphin tours are also offered. This really is a little piece of paradice on earth.
