Gunns Camp overview
Gunn's Camp is set on a palm-fringed island overlooking Chiefs Island, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, widely regarded as one of the most spectacular game reserves in Africa. The camp consists of 6 large vintage-style safari tents, complete with ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower, separate lounge area and private veranda. The tents are fully furnished, using wood and African furniture. The tents are set on raised platforms overlooking the Delta plains. The trees provide shade and privacy, making this an idea honeymoon venue.
The island is connected to the main camp by a small causeway crossing the wetlands and magically lit by a series of lanterns. Guests have access to the recently renovated and refurbished elevated bar, lounge and dining area. There is also a boma, serving delicious grilled meals in the open air. The camp has a swimming pool. the perfect place for guests to cool off and relax. Activities offered here include half and full-day mokoro excursions,
sunset cruises in custom-built motorboats, game walks, bush walks with picnic lunches and fishing excursions. Wilderness camping can also be arranged, which needs to be booked in advance.

The camp overlooks Chief’s Island bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. It is set amongst palm and ebony trees. It has a private airstrip on Ntswi Island, about a 20 minute flight from Maun and a 1 hour 40 minute flight from Kasane. Rooms:
6 meru-style tents with en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs and outside showers. They are on raised platforms overlooking the delta plains. The tents are furnished with wooden furniture and have a lounge area as well as a private veranda with a table and chairs reached through sliding gauze doors. Tents have electric lights and overhead fans. The toilet and basin are at the rear of the main tent, with a separate outdoor bath and shower. They are connected to the main camp via a raised walkway across the wetlands. Activities:
Mokoro excursions, guided bush walks on Chief’s Island and motor boat sunset cruises on a lagoon in the delta. Water activities are dependent on water levels. Gunn’s Camp also arranges island camping with a personal guide. Facilities:
